About Atelier Amoi

About Atelier Amoi

Atelier Amoi is a creative archive exploring photography and graphic design through evolving collection series — transformed into physical objects designed for everyday interaction.

The Practice

Founded by Amoi G-Truong, a photographer and graphic designer based in San Diego, Atelier Amoi exists at the intersection of visual art and everyday objects. Each collection captures a distinct atmosphere — studied, refined, and translated into pieces that carry the spirit of the original work.

Why Collections Exist

Collections are the core language of the archive. Rather than standalone products, every object belongs to a visual series — a body of work with its own mood, palette, and story. Botanical Moments, Future Series, Limited Studies, and Experimental Collections each represent a distinct chapter in an ongoing creative exploration.

Objects as Extensions

Phone cases, tote bags, pouches, journals, prints — these are not merchandise. They are physical extensions of the archive, designed to bring the atmosphere of each collection into daily life. Purchasing an object is a way of carrying a piece of the visual work with you.

Funding Artistic Growth

The shop exists to fund continued artistic exploration — photography projects, design studies, and the ongoing expansion of the archive. Every object sold supports the next collection, the next series, the next visual study.
